Flu-proof your home

Show winter colds the door by keeping a germ-free house with these tips:

  • Keep an eye out for germ hot spots in the home. Germs love to linger on the most popular surfaces like the remote controls, phones, door handles and keys. Clean these daily to avoid spreading germs between family members. It is as simple as wiping them down with a disinfectant.
  • Make hand washing second nature. Remind your kids to wash their hands when they get home from school before they run rampant in the house. All those kids they played with are coming home with them. Wash hands in warm, soapy water when you get home and before you eat!
  • Humidify the home. Believe it or not, flu viruses love cool, dry environments. Keeping the air in your home at a higher humidity level will not only help your chapped lips, but will help you stay healthy.
  • Clean house. It’s probably obvious by now that germs love to live in less-than-clean environments. They love dirty countertops, dusty floors and messy bathrooms. By spending the time to tidy-up and clean these messy areas, you save yourself a week out of work because of the flu — or worse yet, because your kids have the flu.

We at Daigle Cleaning Systems know you’re busy. No time to clean the house top to bottom? Let us do it for you!

Cleaning doesn’t have to be tradition

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day: Arguably the greatest holidays of the year bringing people from all over the world together.

You may be having family or friends over you haven’t seen since last year because they either live far away or just because life itself get’s in the way. Regardless, you are probably experiencing a ray of emotions. First you start out being stressed, panicking about cleaning your house and buying supplies to cook. Then once all is said and done and they arrive, you will be excited to see them and those feeling of stress will suddenly disappear — until you must clean up.

Wouldn’t life be so much easier if you could host get-togethers and not have to worry about cleaning up after or before?

Even though you know your loved ones would (hopefully) not care if you have a messy home, you feel much better having them see a clean space.

So how can you make all of this happen without having to actually do the work?

Hire Daigle Cleaning Systems Inc. to take care of the pre- and post-cleaning. They will make your house sparkle, leaving all your guests impressed. It will be a win-win situation. You will be able to focus on being excited about your loved ones visiting and spending time with them while we clean the house before and after the visit, completely eliminating the hassle.

After all, we all know the holidays can be stressful enough. And who knows? You may want to bring that DCS sparkle in your home to the office.

Clean less, live more

Let’s talk cleaning statistics. Trust me when I say this will be just as much an eye opener for you as it was for me.

On average, Americans spend 30 days out of each year doing household chores.
Yes, I said it. Thirty days. That is a whopping 720 hours a year! Let’s take a step back and really put that into perspective. If we spend 30 days a year (or 720 hours a year) and the average life expectancy is 78 years old, this means we are spending about 56,160 hours a lifetime cleaning.

Twenty percent of people said household chores have interfered with quality time spent with their friends and/or family.
In fact, people admitted to spending twice as long on chores than bonding with friends and family.

The average time Americans spend on household chores each week hovers right around 14 hours.
Those same people only spend a total of four hours a week relaxing, 98 minutes being active and 50 minutes enjoying the outdoors, meaning a majority of their time is spent on cleaning.

One in 25 said cleaning affected their relationship with their significant other.
Living a happy and fulfilled life has much to do with how you spend your time and if you’re occupied with cleaning, you are not fulfilling a happy and healthy lifestyle.

The most hated chore is scrubbing the toilet.
There are not many people out there who would say they actually enjoy sitting on a filthy floor to clean a grubby toilet.

More often than not, Americans put their chores off for three days before buckling down.
Twenty-seven percent of these people wish they had help.

So what was the point of that rambling of numbers?

Instead of spending even more of your and your company’s time cleaning at work, let Daigle Cleaning Systems take care of it for you.

When the Dust Settles, We Will Be There

In many ways, the cooler weather can be a blessing. But in some ways, it can also be a curse.

Why’s that, you say? Dust buildup for the win!

During the hot months of summer, fans are constantly going full bore to keep cool in the workplace. And once September and October hit, the fall air comes through and everyone is ready to put those fans into storage.

Without fans circulating the airflow, we see a lot of dust buildup from stagnant air or dust being brought in through the windows and open doors.

Dust is something that can make you sneeze and it is not aesthetically pleasing. Honestly, who wants that?

Let us make your space shine. Whether you’re expecting a delivery or have clients walking through, we have you covered.

Another unique feature that makes us standout from other cleaning services is our willingness to customize our services to meet your needs, so check out our commercial cleaning services for more information.

Downsize your company’s to-do list

After a cold, harsh winter and a muddy spring, the floors and carpets in your work place probably appear less than stellar. Salt dragged in on the bottom of your shoes leaves a nasty stain and can even damage the finish on your wood flooring. Mud and dirt isn’t pretty, either, especially after it has been smudged into the carpeting.

Now that summer is in full swing, it is the perfect time to get that “spring cleaning” out of the way. The problem is work is too busy and cleaning isn’t something you want to be bothered with.

This is where Daigle Cleaning Systems comes in.

We understand a business works diligently to uphold a positive reputation and we would like to help you show your visitors and clients the best version of you possible. Why let the appearance of your carpets, vinyl or anything else in your business be anything less? With highly-qualified and trained professionals on staff, we will make your work place more attractive than ever.

If you’re tired of walking into a dirty work area, call us at 518.768.4881 or contact us for a free estimate and we will show you how quickly we can give your business a necessary makeover.
